I recognise that jumper! My mum made one for my dad a lifetime ago (1950's). I think she modified it slightly (used a garter-stitch rib to give it texture), but the cut and collar are identical.
Please could you tell me what a garter stitch rib is, and how you do it? I like the neck and collar, but the body looks a little shapeless to me so I'm interested to know what your mother did.
